in 1BR deluxe. clean, new, and modern. excellent experience. @ checkout they do a survey which pays for parking. bed is outstanding. 10% off at local restaurants and stores.

did the survey - they offered PIC until he realized all my points are resale. low key about 10 mins.

It's an awesome area in which to stay. Ours was specifically a trip to visit Old Town Alexandria, but we wanted to experience the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, so we stayed across the river at the Gaylord National Resort Hotel. We used Marriott Rewards Points.

It was a most pleasant and easy walk to all the restaurants and shops, and we had a blast. We found the drive into Old Town Alexandria quite easy, and avoided most of the super-heavy traffic of the surrounding DC area. After each busy day in OTA, we retreated to the Gaylord and enjoyed the hotel and its amenities, as well as the local restaurants. Loved National Harbor and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

There was a free bus shuttle that took hotel guests from National Harbor to the subway station in Old Town Alexandria. Easy way to get to Old town for free and easy way to get to subway to go to DC.
