Hi,

I'm new to this site and have appreciated all of the information.

Just curious if the over-saturation of the timeshare market in Florida make it foolish for one to consider using loyalty points to pay for a place while on holiday? Does the volume of timeshares provide great value for renters there?

Thanks,

theo

Fwiw, it is my personal opinion that any "over-saturation" of the timeshare market in FL is very specifically limited to the greater Orlando area and that there is really no such "over-saturation" elsewhere within the state. It's probably safe to say that in coastal SW FL, the Keys and other coastal areas in FL (including the Atlantic coast), timeshare demand actually exceeds available supply for a significant portion of the year.

In short, I think that any accurate answers to your questions would / must necessarily rely upon exactly where you might want to go within Florida and when (i.e., in which season) you might be seeking to go there.

Just my own personal opinion of course, but one that is based upon a fair amount of timeshare experience in Florida over the past few decades.
