Too many people have. They have gone by many different names in the past, but are currently known as The Breeze Private Residence Club.

TripAdvisor forum - https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTop...es_Scam-Playas_del_Coco_Province_of_Guan.html

This blog has the most information with names, photos, past names, etc - http://www.insidethegate.com/gatehouse/?s=costa+rica#sthash.tYTY90Nj.dpbs

If you are approached by a law firm out of Mexico saying they have a class action case against the timeshare scam, be aware they are ALSO part of the scam. They don't give a F***.

YouShouldKnow - you are responding to a post that is 6 mos. old - when you use the search function, please be aware that it can go back as far as 2005.

ALSO - be aware that duplicate posts are not permitted on TUG, and you have already posted in 3 different threads.

No matter how old the thread is, the scam is STILL happening and people are losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's even going on right now as I type this. I urge you to read those articles and the active forum on TripAdvisor.
This scam has apparently been going on for several years, DeniseM.

***For those of you who feel you have been scammed and lost money you need to make the effort to contact your local FBI office and report your losses, or better yet file a Form IC3, available online at http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , which is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). The more people who file that form the better; as individuals (unless your loss is huge) not much will be done, but as a group you can pool your losses and possibly reach the criteria to set an investigation into motion. Keep in mind that many of the people you may have dealt with in Costa Rica are U.S. citizens; they may be held liable for their actions under various U.S. statutes regardless of what country they were in when they defrauded you. (The Michael Kelly Ponzi scheme comes to mind…) Take whatever evidence you may have, make your case and make sure you explain that others across the country are doing this, too, that the scheme affects many people from all over to the tune of millions of dollars.*** - See more at: http://www.insidethegate.com/gateho...e-news-december-20-2014/#sthash.pN1afzP0.dpuf

Scams are a big problem in the timeshare industry, but as I have already made clear to you in numerous private messages, duplicate posts are not permitted on TUG.

I realize that you are trying to help - but this is not a unique situation. EVERY DAY we get numerous reports of various scams in the timeshare industry.

Tuggers do not care to read the same message over and over, so one post is enough.

As directed in my pm's - if you want to contact a specific person, click on their blue user name.

Why is this a Scam?

Timeshare industry is full of complaints (even against companies like marriott, Hilton, Starwood, hyatt etc.). People pay full price which is tens of thousands of dollars to the developer after sales presentations (and they get lied to a bit) and later on, they realize that they paid too much for something that is available for a fraction of the cost in resale market. But there is no Scam, as long as a valid contract for timeshare is delivered. Buyer remorse, sure. Was there a hard sell? Yes, sure. Do people still say "No", all the time. Do people still buy, all the time.

OP, instead of posting links, can you explain how the SCAM is working at Breezes Private Residence Club? Are they not delivering the fractional ownership (timeshare) contracts. Resort seems to have amazing reviews and it is also part of Registry Collection exchange program. RC will not take any SCAMMING company into their exchange program for sure.
