I believe I have read here that we can use the pools etc. before our check in if we arrive early.

How do we get into the rec/pool area without ID or room key?

I have emailed the resort but hopefully a tugger (trader, not owner) can help me out.

Thanks,
Anne

go to the Woodstone checkin desk, and show them your confirmation letter and they will give you what you need to get into the rec center, and the vehicle pass to get through the gate - they just will not give out the room keys.

early check-in

We too will be heading there in Feb. 09. My exchange confirmation says check-in isn't until 5pm. I have never seen a check-in so late. Why is this?
If it is a slower time of year, will they let you get into your unit early?

5 PM?? How weird is that! We own there, and have been there several times, and the check in is always 4 PM. I looked at my confirmation directly from Massanutten for this July, and it says 4 PM.

I also don't understand 5:00 - i just came back yesterday, checkin was 4 pm just like always. (we were just there in November) my confirmations for both August and this coming November also both say 4.

Our confirmation is directly from Massanutten - Friday at 4 PM.

We own there too, and have stayed at Massanutten six times,
our check in has always been at 4 (they never let us in earlier)

Maybe Woodstone is 5 PM, and the Summit and other are 4 PM. They might have Woodstone check in last since it takes others 30 minutes to get up the hill to the Summitt and Mountainside!!!

Woodstone

Yes, we are staying at Woodstone. Check-in at 5pm and check-out at 10am.
Maybe that does make a difference?
