SDO deed recorded twice?

I was just looking up our SDO deed on this website:
http://recorder.maricopa.gov/recdocdata/

We own one 2 bed L/O at SDO, but there are two deeds recorded under our name. One on 4/25/11 and one on 5/5/11.

Is this normal? I don't want to pay the $4 to find out what the deeds say (yes, I am that cheap ;) )

No, it's not normal. What does your closing company say? Perhaps the second one is some sort of correction?

I don't remember who we used with for the closing -- it was in 2011. I'm not even sure where I have our paperwork. I may recall something needed to be redone, but I truly don't remember what.

We plan on keeping this timeshare for quite a while, so I won't worry about it right now. Or maybe I'll go look from some money in the couch to justify the $4 expense..lol.

On Maricopa county website, you do not need to pay to see the unofficial deed - it will be missing the recording stamp but you don't need that to check it out.

PM me if you need assistance.

Thank you, Ryan, but I figured out how to see it for free (just click on the # for pages.

Seems like it was a corrected deed due to a misspelled name.
