I have booked one week at Samoset and I could get another unit for a second week. I would like to get another location along the coast of Maine but none are available (this is for May-June 2016). I also have a week for Brewster, MA and I can get another unit on the cape but not at this same resort. I have never been to Massachussetts but we went to Maine last year. We loved Maine.

Is there enough to see in the Cape area to warrant 2 weeks. We would like to spend at least one day or more in Boston.

What are your opinions on which place to put my 3rd week?

One week on the Cape will be enough, however, a day or two in Boston will barely scratch the surface. I would stay in Boston at least a week.

If you have 3 weeks to spend in New England and you already have 1 in ME and one in MA....then I would try for a different state.

I'm assuming there are no children traveling with you due to your dates. What do you like to do while away? Are you into the outdoors, like tours, history, theater???

My first thought would be Newport, RI. Lots to see/do in and around the area and an easy drive into Providence (which is a great city).

But, with a bit more info....then we can help narrow it down.

Brewster puts you at a good place on the cape. Far enough away from the near Boston end and striking distance to PTown.

I like the RI suggestion above if you can find something there.

Hard decision

I love Maine. Could stay all summer! And last year was our first trip to Cape Cod, staying at Brewster Green. We enjoyed it so much that we are going back again this mid-May for another visit as we didn't get to see all we wanted. Didn't make it out to the islands; Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard as we were too busy just discovering the Cape itself. But I've also spent a week in Newport, RI. Unless you want to see each and every mansion open to the public there, I'd say you could hit the highlight mansions, drive the town and ocean drive, shop, dine , take a boat tour and be done in four days there. Whichever you choose, you can't lose. They're all great!

There are also timeshares in Jamestown, RI. We stayed at Bay Voyager Inn last year. Very nice, not in Newport, but on the other side of the bridge. There is another timeshare in Jamestown called Newport Overlook.

haven't done Maine yet, but plan to. Have been to the cape on two different occasions, lots to see and do. We enjoyed Newport a lot, went to all the mansions, did backstage tour too, and went up to the house with the topiaries, did Fort Adams tour, boat trip, ocean drive, walked around the town, had a great time. Not on the water but nice is the Berkshires in Western Mass. We also loved our trip to Lincoln New Hampshire in the White Mountains.

To each their own --- my $0.02 worth...

What are your opinions on which place to put my 3rd week?

For starters, I will note that most Cape Cod timeshare facilities are very little more than converted motels. Brewster Green is a noteworthy exception, but you have already indicated that an additional week there is not an available option (no surprise). Accordingly, I would frankly look to depart Cape Cod for your as-yet uncommitted additional week.

We own at Samoset Resort in Maine (it's in Rockport, not Rockland, but the two abut), but I can't recommend a second consecutive week in ME late spring. I'm surprised you can't find a week in Ogunquit (there are several timeshares there) or in Ellsworth (but Acadia Village Resort may be II-affiliated only) in that (very early for Maine summer) time frame, but maybe it's simply because you are looking so far ahead for 2016 at this early date. I'm betting that "deposits" that far out are quite limited right now. Moreover, I'm inclined to believe that many people in those high demand / limited supply locations often choose to rent out their weeks rather than "deposit for exchange" at all, if not actually using their weeks themselves. I for one would certainly do so.

In your situation with your geographic benchmark, for some diversity I'd probably look for a week in Rhode Island for your third week in New England, rather than just adding on another week to either of the two specific areas in which you have already confirmed a week.
Just my own personal viewpoint and opinion --- YMMV.
