Any updates on Wind in the Pines, Great Barrington? How bad is it really?

Any info would be appreciated. Need clean, warm, and quiet, but basic is ok. I am familiar with the location, which is fine.

I have never stayed there, but is this a case of if you can't say something nice don't say anything? Anyone have input? We are staying at Oak and Spruce end of June, hear the towel situation is odd? A little info goes a long way! Thanks Folks!

I am going to give Wind in the Pines a whirl this winter, so we'll see.

Oak n Spruce is fine and units are definitely nicer/newer than WITP, mileage varies at OnS depending on where you end up. Prepare for stairs, loud neighbors and painfully slow checkin with pushy sales pitch. Very crowded pool in summer if you care about that. Location is great, which is the only reason I stay there. I've not had towel issues but we usually have fewer people than the unit occupies so it works out ok.
