Will this new Maryland Law have any impact on Timeshares in Maryland
Real Property - Common Ownership Communities - Foreclosure of Liens
With the passage of HB 286, an HOA or common ownership community may not foreclose on a lien comprised primarily of fines and/or attorney fees to collect those fines. Only liens comprised of assessments and/or attorney fees may be foreclosed upon by an HOA or common ownership community.
