My coworker happily told me today that she got a call from this company saying that they had a buyer for her timeshare who was willing to pay her lots of money, enough to redo her kitchen. Beware, I said. I asked what her resort was. Here she was confusing, but I think she said that although she owns at the Cove at Ormond Beach (points), the offer was for Liki Tiki, part of the same umbrella. She said she tried to look up this firm but couldn't find any information. So, I'm posting here...has anyone gotten calls from these folks?

The cove at Ormond beach has several ads on Redweek which range fro $1800 - $7000. If the company is saying that they can sell it for more than that they are a complete scam.

But in general, any company which cold calls you and says they have a buyer is not being truthfull. Why would any company try and find an owner who may or may not wish to sell when there are many current owners advertizing that they want to sell? They only want the big listing fee and do not have a buyer.
