Would appreciate advice on a Fall trip from Virgina to New England
later this year. Probably will head to Gettysburg first. We may
continue to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Two couples
driving. Estimate at least one TS stay in Maine(?). Two weeks
+ or --. Thanks!

Wouldn't it be better the other way 'round?

It might be better for you to start at the north end and then travel south. That's the way the fall colors move.

I did a New England fall color trip a few years ago. We were in New Hampshire at Inn Season at Pollard Brook the week of Columbus Day and the colors were perfect. We then went to Harbor Ridge in Acadia National Park, Maine the next week and the colors were fading but ok. That was also the week after the park shuts down much of their activities. There are online sites that track the colors so you might do a search for fall colors by state and see what the best times are likely to be. You might start in Canada at the end of Sept and then move down to New England in early Oct and keep heading south.

I'm with Bob and Sue. How much time are you planning on taking? You're talking some serious driving. One thing to keep in mind , in the New Hampshire regions mentioned traffic back ups can be a real problem especially on the weekend ,not to mention late Sept. early Oct. is fall festival fair season.

Also, foliage season in New England is usually still Prime Season. You may not find any Maine timeshares on RCI or on II.
