CJ has listed this type of SMV previously with a reserve that was much higher (and never met) than the winning bid on this auction. If true (and I do not trust CJ), someone got a great price for someone looking for a 2Bd Plat+ SMV

That's an unbelievable price. I would have bid if I thought there was any chance it would turn out that low.

Not that I need another timeshare.

WOW!!! That is a good price.

Yeah I find this seller usually pricing high with fairly high costs, that's probably why his offerings keep getting re-listed.

I was the winning bidder and was surprised it went this low. Virtually all of CJ's listings are way overpriced but they didn't put a reserve or minimum bid on this one. This is a quality resort. I got a copy of the current owner's deed and noticed that he bought it from the developer in 2002 or $31,995.

Congratulations.
It's normal for a timeshare to lose 90% of its value the mandatory don't because of the trading system but it is still 50% plus.

Awesome price. I paid close to that for an EOY to requal (and it is a great requal week!).

Thanks for the info. Let us know how the transaction goes with CJ.

Transfer Completed

This week got transferred into our name yesterday on Starwood's system. So, it took about 3 weeks from the end of the auction to completion which I think is the way all of these deals should be done. Don't understand why it takes so many sellers 6-8 weeks or more when there's no ROFR.
