I currently have a two night stay at Glacier Canyon that we won't be using (67,500 points). I also have 20,000 points left from my current use year. I would like to deposit 105,000 points into RCI to exchange in to Disney. I'm thinking I can cancel my current reservation, then make a reservation within 90 days worth 105,000 points using cancelled points, the rest of my current use year points and borrowing from my 2016 points. After I cancel the current reservation, if I understand correctly, I will have 77,000 HK credits returned to my account. I will then need to purchase enough HK credits to deposit the 105,000 points. I would then need to cancel the new reservation and then have 105,000 points available to deposit into RCI. Is it best to do this over the phone and will I then pay only one transaction fee?

You only pay 1 transaction free per day, no matter how many transactions you make that day. As for your other questions, someone more knowledgeable will help you. ;)

You won't be able to use 2016 points for a reservation within 90 days. You can only borrow from the next use year. Did you mean 2015?

What you're describing is possible. It's one transaction as long as you do it all on the same day, whether you call in or not.

No. I have an EOY contract and don't get points again until 2016. If this isn't going to work we can go to Glacier Canyon later in the year. Thank you for the replies.

Is it possible to use pooled points for a reservation if I pool my 2016 points?

You will not be able to borrow from 2016. You will only be able to borrow from 2015, but it sounds like your 2015 balance is 0 due to the EOY contract. This is one disadvantage of an eoy contract.

Yes. It sounds like you don't have a lot of points... so you would want to make sure it's worth what it will end up costing. But if you pool your 2016 points, you could do what you want.

Pooling is your only option. Just remember you can't do an RCI deposit with pooled credits directly. You'll need to make a reservation for close to the amount of points you'll need for the deposit, cancel it, THEN deposit to RCI using cancelled points.

No, I don't have very many points. 210,000 EOY. Unfortunately purchased from the developer many years ago. Initially I was able to get 6 trips in 2 years with five 28,000 point deposit and one 70,000 point deposit. When that option went away I have been using my points for short family trips to Glacier Canyon. My niece and her family won't be able to make it this year so I am going to cancel one of the rooms. I am looking for a good use of the cancelled points as well as the 20,000 points left for this year.
