Sacramento airport to Napa at 6 pm on a Friday - traffic?

There will be a little traffic jam at the causeway to Davis, but once you pass that it should be clear sailing to the 12 exit to Napa. The bulk of the traffic will be the other way, folks from Bay Area headed up to the Sierras for the weekend.

The Sacramento Airport is significantly North of the any impacted traffic from Sacramento- My only experience is from Fairfield to Napa at dinner time.
Now Oakland to Napa would be quite stressful at that time of night
It should take about 2 hours on the road after leaving the airport to arrive at Napa.

My sister in law lives in Fairfield. She flies to and from Sacramento precisely because of the lower traffic, as compared to Oakland or SFO. All things considered, as others have said, you should be fine at that hour. Enjoy!
