Looking for advice from anyone who may have used Dallas RPS to sell a timeshare in Mexico. I own at VDP Flamingos and have been made an offer through them by a Mexican Company (name unknown). Anyone out there use them?

Since this is you first post I would suggest reading threads on TUG if you have not already done so.
Very few of these companies / ( scams ? ) turn out to be a cost effective solution to ending an ownership relationship with a TS resort .
Why would you sell anyway ?
The value is all in use .
If you no longer wish to use / own VDP - giving it away on TUG for $ 0
( Buying - Selling - Renting Forum - bargain deals / read the rules )
or
Marketplace - to see click the red bar at the top
TS for Sale
or
Bargain Basement ( under $ 500 )

If someone called you out of the blue with a high offer (say more than a few hundred$) it's probably a scam. Mexican TSs are generally worthless. Check eBay for comparables.

If they want you to pay ANYTHING upfront, no matter what they call it - it's a scam.
They may come up with bogus fees, such as property or sales tax, commission, title fees, etc., but if you have to pay it up front - it's a scam. What happens with many of these companies is that they charge you a bunch of fees, and then the sale is never completed, and they keep the fees.
REPUTABLE companies take ALL the fees out of the proceeds of the sale - you should pay nothing.
If they tell you it will go in an escrow account and be refunded after closing - don't believe it.
