There goes the neighborhood!

This article details the opening of the new Ritz Carlton property that replaces Hyatt's Dorado Beach hotel. While it's effusive in its praise of both the property and the improving PR leisure prospects, it is unrelenting in its criticism of Hyatt's handling of the property over the years.

Let's see what interplay there might be between the timeshare and this new "anchor" hotel. If any.

Hyatt Hacienda

We traded into Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar several years ago and were disappointed in the upkeep and maintenance of the units and buildings. The grounds and setting were beautiful, but the resort didn't meet the standards of the other Residence Club resorts. Hopefully, that has improved as this is a special place.
