FREE--Star Island 3b/2b PRIME summer week 30.

Since I now live 35 miles from Orlando, I am giving away my "Disney" inventory.

This unit is on the top floor (6th) of the Wyndham owned building. It is the newer 3/2 that has an entry hall with doors to units on each side. Right side is full kitchen with master bedroom. Left is 1 bedroom, partial kitchen, and large den with queen sleeper.

Week 30 is the last week of July and prime for rental or deposit. It is NOT a Wyndham interval so there is no $299. transfer fee.

I will pay closing cost. I have been a hugh Star Island fan and will happily go back there somewhere down the road.

Is this a lockout and does it exchange through RCI or II?

It IS a lockoff and for sure trades with RCI. I will check today on II and get the MF's for 2015.

What are the yearly maintenance fees?

I just called SI (to late) for MF's for next year---will call and post in the AM.

This unit is an early Vacation Break ownership and not Wyndham Managed.
The unit is 1963---- building 19, 6th.floor, unit 3--1963.

What is the management company?

The HOA and the management co. IS Star Island. Wyndham owns the building but not the interval. Wyndham has nothing to do with this week.

MF's increased from $825 to $880. Fla. prop. tax remained @ $110.

Total Mf's for 2015 is $990.00

This unit trades with II as well as RCI. In January of this year I stayed at Marriott's Surfwatch and Grand Ocean on BONUS guest certificates. Deposit as separate units, at the right time, and you can get 4 vacations for one MF of $990.

Wyndham units don't even come close.

This is ONE of the very few resorts where Wyndham is the minority operator - even under the Wyndham points reservation web site, it is labeled as "Star Island".

The original builder & developer is the manager & owner. His brother SOLD out a minority interest in Star Island before Bonnet Creek was built (and maybe before its planning). It was advertise as being the 'closest' timeshare to Disney (years ago) ... and is near the intersection of RT 535 & RT 192. It is in a sweet spot for inexpensive dining - TGIFridays does the Star Island food (with "room service" and a TGIFriday's Golf Cart). Olive Gardens is across the road from it entrance and Smokey Bones is at the RT 535 & RT 192 intersection - the Publix supermarket is behind the Smokey Bones.

The resort has many tennis courts (even had its own teaching Pro) plus lots of adult events in the early evening hours on it 2nd floor bar. There is a full service spa behind the front desk checkin. There is a modest driving range.

I really have enjoyed my trips there - because it has MORE onsite adult activities that are fun, relaxing & entertaining.

My fixed week trades thru II and is a lockoff also.

Still available--Linda is right---this resort exudes Old Florida Charm. If your not going to spends days with the mouse---this is a GREAT place to spend all your vacation days.

Still available. It takes over 220,000 Wyndham points to reserve this unit for a week. The MF's are lower than Wyndham, AND I am paying the closing costs.

Are the 2015 MF due at closing?

I will be paying the 2015 MF's this week. The buyer will be reimbursing me as part of the closing.
