Looking to give away our timeshare at Summer Bay Resort. Traded in the points system through RCI. Currently have 121,000 points "banked". Have two young kids and cannot afford the timeshare anymore, inherited from grandparents. Own week 35 every other year. 2016 is a use-year and maintenance fees are paid. 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. Maintenance fee is $477 per year. Receive 60,500 points/year if exchanged through RCI. We will pay fees to transfer deed. The unit sleeps 8, there is no lockoff, and it has a lake view.

Still available, great resort!

Property is still available and this is a use year with maintenance fee already paid. Mortgage is fully paid as well.

They lost one bldg. in that sink hole. The resort did not get swallowed up. It's my understanding they built the new water park where that bldg. used to be.

I have a unit there for sale and have had people contact me from the resort while staying there and have told me how wonderful the place is so I'm pretty sure there is no evidence it every happened.

StephS21, is this a floating week or a fixed week?

It's nice that it's already converted to RCI pts. Many peeps look for that.

Our unit was not affected by the sinkhole, and neither was the majority of the resort. The resort has been restored and is beautiful.
We are part of the RCI points system and all bookings have to go through RCI rather than the resort itself. It allows for great flexibility!

Is this an even year use timeshare? So you only pay your maintenance fee on the even years? Thanks, Mary

The maintenance fee is paid every year. 60,500 points are given every other year. The unit is not fixed or floating but rather on the RCI points system. These points can be used globally for different resorts
