We were born and have lived in California all our lives and never tasted frozen custurd until being back East about 5 years ago. Now we search it out and can't get enough of it. Few and far between in Santa Clara County.
Until recently we didn't see any in California. When I asked about it I was told because the frozen custurd places don't want to compete with frozen yogurt. Why not, the custurd is great, can't say anything good for frozen yogurt.
How many on the West Coast never have tasted frozen custurd? How many have and love it? To me it taste like the smoothest/silkiest ice cream I have ever tasted.
