Do you have a link to show what 6000 points will get at this resort and at others in their system?

Also, are there any other costs than the annual maintenance fees such as program fees for Bluegreen or exchange fees to use other resorts?

Vacation club dues are roughly $130/yr

exchange fees are determined by exchange company, but there is no charge to use your points in BGVC for same or other BG resorts. no reservation fee, no fee to put it into the name of a friend, etc. Using bonus time is cash-only.

6000 points is not a lot, depending on when and where you wanna go (6000 pts = 3 weeks in winter in a studio @ Big Cedar for example) but you don't have to do full weeks, it's 2 night minimum (3 if a holiday).

Thank you geekette, this resort is in a wonderful area not far from lake Michigan. I don't think this one will work for me but it caught my eye because it's a reasonable drive from our home and I have relatives near by.
