How to list on Bargain Deals?

Just joined and want to list points on Bargain Deals page... How to do it?

I have tried to contact people with ads on the Market Place, but never get a response. Do I need to be a paid member to shop and interact with posters? I see the ads still listed so I am assuming they are still available.

When someone sends me a message in the marketplace, I get an email telling me that I have a message. However, some people have said their alert email goes straight into their spam folder. If they don't check their Tug account for the message, they may never get it.

-Some people are slow to respond to Ads.
-Some use a different email address and then forget to check it.
-Some sell/rent their timeshare, but never take the Ad down (it will age off after 3 mos.)
-Sometimes the email goes in their spam folder.
-Some people disregard low-ball offers.
-Some people disregard emails that sound like they may be from a scammer or tire kicker.

You can't do much about the first 5, but make sure your emails are well-written and that you come across like a serious party - not just a tire kicker or spammer.

Also - make sure you are checking your OWN spam folder for responses, and remember to check the email that you registered with TUG, which may not be your regular email.

SAMPLE:

Hi - This is DeniseM from TUG and I am very interested in your Ad for XYZ. Can you please provide a little more info.:

-Would you consider an offer of $2,000?
-What are the payment terms?
-Is the view guaranteed?
-Do you accept Paypal?

You can email me at: XXXX
You can call me at: XXXX (After 6:00 Eastern)

I have the same issue. I figure the messages are going to their Spam folder so they are never seeing them. Though I would think after a while you would check your message on the Tug website and notice that people have been trying to contact you.

No you do not, and I know this from personal experience. I feel this is one of the great things about this site compared to others. As you can see I did eventually join.
