I am looking at going to the Royal Caribbean next year.
does anyone know what is happening with the Royal Mayan?
I would hate to have construction going on next door.
Thanks,
Al

The Royal Mayan is now The Emporio, open and in use.

There's an article about it in the Oct / Dec 2014 Owner's Manual. Looks like they're doing remodeling and upgrades. However it is not being torn down and rebuilt, so I wouldn't expect a noise problem.

Royal Resorts members are welcome to come and use their facilities for free; access via the beach or lobby. You can use credit card or cash at their restaurants/bars.
