(Just over 900 miles from MD to Florida)

The one that is located near The Boardwalk (Guard Gate).

We were not sure where we wanted to spend the night
and since it was getting late, I called the 800 number
for Clark`s Inn to see if they had anything available.

The lady remembered us from last week and said,
she would hold a room for us. No deposit needed.
Love my LG cell phone with Internet & Nav. maps!

We arrived @ Santee SC on Friday night and was able
to get a first floor room with complimentary breakfast.
for the same rate as we paid the previous Thurs night.

We highly recommend Clark`s Inn for an overnight stay.
The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, easy parking by
your door, and a cozy restaurant. It is a very relaxing 2
story motel that takes me back to the good old days.
A place where you can sit outside your room and talk
to friends & family and other travelers staying at the Inn.

Today, Bill drove 368 miles
from 9 AM - 6 PM (9 hours)

Incredible detail. I barely remember what I had for dinner tonight. I'd have to look at my Outlook calendar to tell you where I was any farther back than last week.

I consider it a travel victory if I show up everywhere on the right day and without missing any flights.

Inside this Bass Pro location you will find everything for the outdoors
plus The Islamorada (eye-lah-muh-rah-duh) Fish Company Restuarant.

have there photos taken in front of a huge
Charlie Brown Pumpkin Patch (background).

While we were there that Saturday, they were hosting a Halloween Parade for children. It was fun to watch the adults with their children, trick or treat as they went by.

Note: I-95 at Exit 89 is going to be an up and coming shopping district with new hotels, restaurants, etc.

Be sure to allow enough time to stop by Bass Pro Shops
the next time you are traveling thru Virginia on I-95.

Oct 26, 2013, near Mt Vernon Va
Mileage Odometer 200,000 miles!

Wanted to stay on I-95 but traffic got so backed up
we decided to get off 95 and took Route 1 to a back
road pass Mt Vernon then continued Northbound to MD.

Hopefully some of these facts and figures will help
to give other travelers an idea of places to stop at
and the mileage/cost to travel this section of I-95.

It was a great road trip!
