I just returned from Grand Luxxe Neuvo Vallarta.
I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. The place is simply amazing.
We had my wife and I and two 17 year old boys. We stayed in a 2BR 2.5 bath in Grand Luxxe IV on the second floor. It had a view of the new lagoon still under construction and the Santurario.
We bought the meal plan which was 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners for $235. We ate off property a couple of days. The boys didn't wake up until noon and were too busy to sit down for dinner so we didn't share the plan with them.
One of the highlights was Sayulita Beach. We took a cab and asked him to stay while we surfed and ate. He happily hung out for the extra tip we gave him. We rented boards for 50 pesos for an hour. The water was warm and the surf was small but perfect form. We finished up with a fantastic Mexican meal on the beach under the umbrellas.
The boys are already asking to go back during Spring Break next year and my wife is not objecting.
The only negative was she got nailed by a jelly fish in the water out in front of the Grand Mayan one day. It was pretty nasty looking but it didn't slow her down.
