Not likely. They'd rather have your MF payments. You could try to give it away, but iirc, they charge large transfer fees.

How long have you owned it? While recent purchases require something like $500 to transfer ownership, on our contract dated in 1998 it states the transfer fee is $100.

since you are a TUG member just list it on TUG for free for $1 with the buyer paying the transfer fee. You should be able to sell it and transfer it legally without it coming back to haunt you. No need to use an escrow company to close and you can get the required paperwork from member services.
