Does any Tug member own a CC Holiday Estate TS in Mashpee? Has there been a special assessment recently? He said the furniture seemed like hotel furniture when he previewed the unit. These weeks are far less expensive than my home Cape resort.

A young co worker is thinking of buying one and has never owned a TS before. How does late June trade?

I own a July week at another Cape resort but have no experience with this resort.

Thank You

I don't know the answers to any of your questions, but I traded there once, and those single homes in the woods were one of the neatest places we ever went to!

We own a week late April - early May. Our current maintenance fee is $685 and is broken down as follows:
Operating Costs = $502.85
Real Estate Tax = $46.17
Capital Improvements = $96.00
Energy Surcharge = $40.00
The reason for the high fee is what makes the resort attractive, that is 33 or 34 individual cottages with plenty of privacy. That is 33 or 34 different buildings to care for and maintain as opposed to one or two.
For example, numerous roofs, heating systems, etc.
We have used our weeks to exchange to Orlando; Germany; Poconos; Lake Placid, etc.
Not high demand places in high demand seasons, but trades that suited our tastes.
June should do very well.
Basically a well-run place in a nice location.

Thank You both! My co worker is a family man mid twenties with a 2 yr old so his funds are tight.

My Brewster Green MF are about the same as CC HE and also part of VRI. Next time I am down the Cape I am going to check it out now that I know it's near my SIL's house.

cape cod holiday estates

Hi, I too own at Brewster Green and had done an internal exchange a few years ago with CCHE.. it was a great place, quiet and as others noted all separate cottages... like having your own home at the Cape.. we loved it and found the environment nice and comfortable. From what I hear , it trades well any my weeks are late APril, early May.. I have had lots of good exchanges as well. One RCI rep mentioned that the cape cannot build anymore TS due to no space so what is available becomes desirable for those that want to visit, thus making the trading power higher !!!:D

I have stayed at Cape Cod Holiday Estates a couple of times and my parents stayed there many times, as my father liked it better than his home resort in New Hampshire. The units are very spacious and it is close to the beaches and Mashpee Commons. I would stay there again if it were available. TerryC
