My friend's boxer doesn't eat or even drink water when he is in a kennel. We were thinking that if we boarded him in Myrtle Beach while we were there for a week that we could take him for walks and try to get him to eat something.

Any kennels you have used and would recommend?

and dog sitters around ?

Hi, I can relate with our furry friends.. my shepherd had to stay in the house with the former breeder or wouldn't eat.. does your friend have a reliable friend to watch the dog during the vacation at their house or your friends house ?? I know there are several dog sitters in my area and they get acquainted with the pet and the pet can stay and board at their house for a nominal fee....:)

Have you considered a pet friendly vacation rental? (www.VRBO.com) There are many in Myrtle Beach. As far as boarding, check Myrtle Beach yellow pages and make sure in and out visits are allowed and if there is a fee. I understand that before memorial day and after labor day dogs can enjoy the beach. Mine sure did!!!
