Best grocery store near Trapp Lodge

There are two in Stowe. One at the south end, (small) and one at the north end, much larger, both on rout 100.. There is a connecting road from rte 108 to 100 so you dont have to drive all to and thru Stowe from Trapp lodge.

On the way to Trapp, there is also another Shaw's on Route 100 in Waterbury, fairly soon after you get off I-89. That one is bigger than the Shaw's in Stowe referenced above, and I believe also less expensive. Stowe is really a captive market for skiers so the prices in the two stores in town reflect that.

maybe not to buy groceries but great ambience

Hi, while in Stowe, check out the cute little Vermont country store in town. You can have lunch there and sit and chat... homemade soup when I was there ! Cute little place !!:)
