This is a long established small property in the spectacular Green Mountains. The units are large, private homes in Waitsfield, VT. Big and private. However the local papers are reporting that the wells have literally run dry and they are trying to link to the local water system. For the moment they are using water trucks. The odd thing in the story is their contention that the occupancy skews dramatically to ski season; therefore they hope to do the water project in the summer and fall.

It seems to me that, given the shortage of Northeast US trade destinations in summer, people are missing the boat by not trading into this lovely spot. The water stuff is temporary, but the heart of Vermont in summer is not to be missed.

Check it out. It used to be II, not sure now.
