I am looking to purchase a Starwood resale week from a seller / they are giving it away, but I am somewhat unclear on how to proceed from here. Do I initiate the process with the closing company or does the seller do that?? We will use LT Transfers. and I already have the estoppel. Thanks for the help to make this easy.

On a private resale, there are no set rules. I would take the bull by the horns and contact the seller and recommend LT Transfers.

We submitted the document preparation form in its entirety online to LT. Will they contact us within a business day or two?? Do you know how much it costs to use their escrow service???

I just completed a private resale with LT Transfers. I didn't pay for it, so can't say what the cost was, but it was the fastest, easiest, most pleasant transfer I've ever completed. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Lt Transfers will contact you shortly, but they may be off till Monday. You don't need escrow services since you are getting it for free.

Escrow is an extra $50 with LT. I believe they do an unofficial one for no extra. At this time of year I would probably give them an extra couple of days. I am not sure if they are more than a two or three person operation.

I'm paying for the 2015 usage week so there will be a minimal amount I'll need to pay the seller back since the seller paid those fees on time. Otherwise you are right.

Just wanted to wrap this up and plug LT transfers. Mary did a great job and it was just so easy. Great communication and I'll definately use them again on my next resale purchase.

Thanks TUG for the referral!!
