I don't believe this will transfer as an HIVC points resort, but I have a 1BR here, and SFX accepts weeks.

Just a quick question. Why are they charging such an amount for closing? I am in the process of giving my two bdrm unit at the Desert Club away to friends and only had to send Orange Lake Management $100 to transfer the ownership via the Quit Claim Deed. I just got my documents in the mail today from Orange Lake. The fee to send to the Clark County Recorder in Nevada is $17.00 per page. My Quit Claim Deed request is two pages. I only need to have the Quit Claim Deed Notarized and then mail it to Nevada.

Reduced Closing to $299

I already have an HICV unit and have an RCI Points account. Would this transfer into my RCI Points or does it require an RCI Weeks account?

Hi,

Is the unit you are deeded an updated unit at the resort is it an older unit? Also, what date are the MF due and can you pay them on a monthly basis? If I am reading this correctly, its a float so I can book any week of the year? Is it deeded to a single unit or is it a float unit as well?

I am interested. I have stayed here before on a free trip to sit through the presentation but felt that the secondary market would be a better option. Please personal message me so that we can discuss.

Thanks,
Jeff

hajjah - I work for a title and transfer company transferring properties various resorts take in for trade so this is how I survive - trying to get something out of the bigger resorts like Marriott, Hilton, etc.

Last chance or I will ask the developer if they want it back :)

Quit claim deeds are much cheaper than warranty deeds. If you don't know (and trust) the person from whom you buy real estate a warranty deed ensures that you get what you paid for. A quit claim can come with lots of past taxes, dues, ownership problems etc.
