Is anyone here an owner at RCI's Mariner's Pointe? My mother-in-law rec'd a letter from the owner's group informing her that they are seeing a huge number of owners "not" paying their maintenance fees, etc--like 50%. It sounds like her options are to turn over the deeds to them or likely face something along the lines of a $3000 per unit maintenance fee. She owns two weeks there and has 4 weeks on deposit and one available to deposit. We have one vacation booked for October.

She also owns Wyndham timeshares, so I am wondering what happens to her account if she relinquishes her deeds? I will be calling them yet this afternoon, but am wondering if anyone has seen anything like this before.

Thanks.

Nancy
