This might seem like a really stupid question- so please be kind. I know that it's against the rules to rent an RCI reservation, but does anyone know if I can charge my friend for the guest certificate and the cost of my points to rent the unit? I have never booked RCI for anyone except for my hubby and myself or our kids. I would like to help her out, but I certainly do not want the reservation cancelled or my RCI membership pulled.

If you or your friend do not tell anyone you have been "reimbursed," how will anyone be able to tell?

All RCI would know is that someone, assumed to be you, paid for a guest certificate for non-owner usage.

The usual avenue for getting stung by RCI's rule on this is to blatantly advertise rentals for RCI bookings, and therefore highlight oneself to the RCI police.
