Hi!

My dd and her boyfriend are going to Boston for four nights the end of July to watch the Boston/Yankee game. They know this is not a cheap trip and although do not want to stay in a dump also know they cannot be spending $500 a night on a hotel. I'll look into a trade but don't think I can find anything in Boston in July.

Is there an area where they can stay and not have to drive/take taxies for meals and bars?

If there is such a place, is it close or a taxi ride from the baseball field?

Is there a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn around the area? If breakfast was included in the mornings, that would even be better or should I try to find something on RCI and pay for it if I cannot find a trade? Where would I even look? I do not know anything about Boston, although I have been wanting to visit myself for quite awhile LOL

I believe that my dd's boyfriend is paying for most of the trip with my dd helping out with the dinners.

He just graduated college and she (my dd) is a senior.

She told her boyfriend that she would have me look into it since I was the master planner so now I need to produce LOL

Thank you all!

It all depends on which team they're rooting for....

Seriously, I'd be happy to look for you to see what's available and where. Please let me know the exact dates. This will help.

That means that they (the Sox) are in NY and not at Fenway.

Boston @ New York = Sox @ Yankee Stadium (or whatever the new name is).

August 31, Yankees @ Fenway.

We stayed here and it is walking distance to Fenway Park. Is in Prudential center, with stores, resturants indoor/outdoor pool. Loved it there!

What is the budget? It is very easy to get around in Boston via the subway.

The full service Cambridge Marriott @ 50 Broadway has a great deal, $203 a night advance payment or $239 pay when you stay. From there take the Red Line T to the Green Line T and off @ Fenway.

Great value for Cambridge. Which Cambridge Marriott ? Broadway (x 2) or Memorial Drive ?

Wherever, it's a stellar price AND you get to experience the P.R.O.C. ! (People's Republic of Cambridge). Lots going on.

Thank you all!

The Sox aren't playing the Yankees in Boston at the end of July. They are playing the NYY : first week of August and the second week of July, but not at the end of July. Also, August 31st, Sept 1st and 2nd.

Just an FYI when booking
