Wyndham sales call?

Just got a call from Wyndham asking for DH (the contract is only in his name). I took a message, she said it's about his ownership and to call her back. It's probably a sales call and I don't actually need to have him call back?

TIA!

Did you google the number to see if you can figure out where it originated? Many times these calls are not even from Wyndham - they are cold calls from assorted people trying to get your money.

Good point. I only googled the 855 number she said to call back and didn't see any complaints. Googled the number the call came from and looks like it's a home number, not a business number. No complaints either, but I think I'll just ignore.

Thanks!

Well if it was a real call from Wyndham would definitely thing their name could come up associated with a legit number of theirs and not someones house

It is called Spoofing when a company or person uses someone else's number to call you. The number probably is some innocent person whose number was used by the scammer. It happens all the time with "Rachel, from Cardholder Services". I've gotten several calls like that from a company saying they are calling from RCI. Of course, they are not,
