We have been here since Saturday and I am very happy to report that the outside swimming pool is now officially heated.

I love this place and although far out from Paris that is about the only negative I see.

Fantastic news! They've obviously taken on board the feedback. Does that mean the excuse given by the GM that French laws prevented the heating of outdoor pools was a lie?

This was the one issue the ruled out the resort as a summer holiday destination so it's good to see it's now back in the pot. The villas are my favourite out of all the Marriott portfolio that I've experienced, have they started any refurbishment?

Also, are the cleaning staff still surly?

yes i thought the pool felt heated when we were there in June. I loved this resort too plus the cakes from the boulangerie in the village nearby were amazing. we spent a week there and didn't even get to Disney, my daughter just loved the nearby shopping !

we thought we would go as a 'one-off' but are already talking about going back, i would love to try and stay there and get tickets for the French Open

Linking a stay with going to the French Open sounds a great idea Heather.
The daily trek across the other side of Paris to Roland Garros might be a bit of a pain, but we may well look at this ourselves.
