We have too many timeshares and not enough vacation time so we are giving away our 1 Bedroom 2 bath 1400 square feet timeshare at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach.

http://www.pueblobonitosunsetbeach.com/

Property Details
Ownership: Right To Use until 2031
Usage Type: Annual
Maintenance Fees: $873.00
Affilliation: RCI, Pueblo Bonito
Resort Code: 5704
View: Ocean View
Kitchen
First Available Use: 2015

Closing to be handled by Janet at Timeshare Resale Closing specialist. We would be willing to split the costs of the transfer ($415 each party):

closing cost ($275)
pueblo bonito resort transfer fee ($500)
courier service for documents ($55).

The maintenance fees for 2015 have been paid and can be used anytime this year.

A gentle suggestion: You will have far more luck if you pay all transfer costs. Unfortunately, there are many free timeshares in Mexico.

This is a very nice resort and not just another Mexico timeshare. We are not yearly committed travelers to Cabo but if we were, this would be one that we would love to own. Good luck.

I don't know why you need to involve a closing company. You should have a certificate of ownership on the back of which is a place for you to sign as the owner and another place for the person to sign to whom you are transferring ownership to. The resort then just changes the name on the account as this is a right-to-use property and not a deeded property like in the US.

epcmart, to answer your questions

Does this have other sister resorts in the group
Yes, there are three Pueblo Bonito resorts in Cabo and two in Mazatlan. But, you still have to go through RCI to exchange into any of them.

how well would this trade on RCI/II..??
Hopefully, someone else can answer this question. We own a fixed week at the PB Rose and we don't trade it with RCI.

In general, timeshares in Mexico are poor traders, because there is more supply than demand. This is the kind of timeshare that you buy for your own use every year.

LQJACK, have you considered renting this timeshare? Or donating to charity?

We rent the timeshares that we can't use or bank the time.

You can't donate a timeshare to charity - the market is flooded with free timeshares and they won't take them. Same for the rental market in Mexico - flooded.

Denise,

We've been renting our Villa del Arco in CSL for years when we don't use it. And also other timeshares so the market must not be that flooded.

I was curious as to what method are you using to rent your place in Cabo?

Thank you in advance.
