RCI is kinda the low end with its Extra Vacations and Last Calls but they have this listed:

2 Bedrooms 8 (8) Full Sun 23-Oct-2011 Sun 30-Oct-2011 $359.99

Thats for all 7 days at Parkway, before RCI membership or Tax

If you go through one of RCI's rental to the public portals, you do not need to pay the membership, and in some cases the rentals are even cheaper than they are to RCI's own members.

This is part of what you are competing against when you rent out your own timeshare.

Out of state timeshare closing companies are often incompetent in preparing deeds. I see too much of that in North Carolina. Those in the state where the timeshare is located are more likely to be complying with state law and using forms adequate for that state. The only timeshare closing company I know of that consistently complies with the law in all states they work in is PCS Holdings, which is located in Florida. Often you can get an attorney who does timeshare closings to do it as cheap as some of the out of state timeshare closing companies, and then you know it is done right.

You don't need a realtor or an attorney to transfer the title. You use a closing company - just like with real estate. See #2 in my post for a suggestion of someone who can do the transfer very inexpensively for you.

Is this timeshare within driving distance for you?

Do you vacation at all?
