Hello Everyone,

I am new here and am looking to give away our family Bluegreen timshare.

Here is a list of pertanent info you might like to know:

- Mortgage is paid in full and title is in our possesion
- location of timeshare - Grande Villas at World Golf Village FL. 350WGV/ 35E
- earns 4000 RCI points per year, current balance 8,000
- yearly maintenance fees = 536.00 - due every October
- yearly club dues = 129.00 due every December

We have owned this timeshare since 2003 and it has served us well. however, due to how we vaction nowadays, it does not fill our needs very well.

I do have a bluegreen approved title company that will handle the title exchange and escrow. Fees for this will be paid by seller - me. :)

Also, since mainteneace fees are due very soon, I will also pay for those as well and place the funds for that in the escrow account to be used by buyer.

This is my first time selling, or giving away, a timeshare so I may have missed a few things that might help you make an informed descision. If so, please leave a post or pm me.

Thanks,
Damon

While you can still exchange your Bluegreen. Points thru RCI weeks using a fixed cross over grid as a resale owner, only qualified points (purchased thru the developer or Pinnacle at $1.25 per point) can exchange for RCI Nightly Stays or RCI points resorts.
A RCI week membership is included with your Bluegreen ownership for this purpose.

Bonus time is at the home resort only.

The best use of BG points is to use them to stay at BG resorts.

It is a very generous offer, especially with you paying the $450 transfer fee.

Thank you GrayFal. You are correct.

In addition to the 450.00 title transfer fee being covered, I'm also paying for an additional 150.00 escrow fee to ensure that both parties, buyers and sellers, are protected during the transaction.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to pm me.

Thanks,
Damon

BTW, GrayFal, I'm actually using a title company that you recommeneded for bluegreen transactions. I really apprecite all of the knowledge you've shared in the community. Without it, I doubt I would be able to effectively transfer title to another owner.

Best Regards,
Damon

Most likely Bluegreen Points.

So sorry rci points to trade into dvc

Bluegreen to RCI trades are done via a fixed grid.....unlike the rest of RCI, there are no TPUs Trade Point Units assigned to Bluegreen resorts.

Here is a link to the grid
https://bluegreenowner.com//MS/ResortImages/Bluegreen_RCI_01_15_2010.pdf

So a one bedroom trade into a DVC resort requires 11,000 Bluegreen points most times of the year plus the RCI exchange fee of $209.

Why would you pay an additional 150.00 escrow fee when no money is being exchanged?

I am getting better. I hope he does :cheer: not spend $150 getting something he seems not to need.

Is this still available?

This timeshare is spoken for. The OP is busy at a new job but I'm sure he'll change his subject header to "SOLD" next time he's on TUG.
