Piggley Wiggley/ Kroger's/ Whole Foods- Hilton Head, SC

I visited the new Kroger's at Hilton Head today. It is very large and has a Starbucks, a Bistro area to order food to eat in or take home, very nice deli, seafood dept., and a large bakery area. I mentioned to a Kroger employee that I noticed that Piggley Wiggley had closed. I was told that Whole foods would be moving in(no date given). The old mall has been cut in two. The North end is no more. Belk's is still part of the remaining mall. There is a road between the old existing mall & the new Kroger. New stores are being constructed along the left side of Kroger's, but don't know who will be occupying them. The Kroger parking lot was full today. When the renovation of the Mall area is complete, I think it's going to be a really nice addition to the Hilton Head area. This project should have been done long ago.

Thank you for the continued updates! We won't be back until October, but it is still nice to hear about the new additions that the renovated mall is bringing.
