I think nowadays there is a parking fee at WKORV (and WKORVN & WPORV). But owners are exempt. Does anybody know if the free parking extends to renters of an owner's unit?

Lots of threads on this. No parking fee for those who arrive via timeshare reservations - StarOptions, owner, II. For those who reserve via SPG or other hotel reservation processes, receive daily maid service, and are reserving on a nightly basis, there is a parking fee.

We booked at WKORV July 2012 for this week (16 months out). I was surprised to see us get an OF upgrade when we checked in yesterday. I suspect it has to do with how far out we were confirmed.

Awesome room for $100/ night... :)

Did you get a full 2b/2b WKORV unit with your Twin Peaks exchange 16 months out? That is an awesome and surprising exchange so far out with a non *wood property.

It was my SDO trader during their last bulk deposit.

Can anyone who’s been to WKORV/N recently re-confirm that there is still no parking fee for reservations made thru SVN using StarOptions. I called WKORVN the other day and was told there is a $7/day fee for self-parking or $9/day for valet. I mentioned I was under the impression that there was no self-parking charge for timeshare reservations made with StarOptions, their response was “a parking fee now applies to all reservations” and “I am not the only one complaining but their rates are still lower than other resorts”. Did I just get the wrong person on the phone or has something changed?

I was at WOKORV and WKORV-N in late August, and there were no parking fees. I had several reservations for a family event, some home resort and some made less than 8 months out with banked options. There was a Transient Accomodation Tax (TAT) on the order of $7 for the studio, but no parking fee.

I don't believe it is free for people who rent from Starwood...

We just returned from 12 days at WKORN in a 1 bedroom reserved using StarOptions. There was no parking fee on our bill. The Occupancy TXNS was $6.77 per day.

For an upcoming wkorv visit, my reminder email today states:

Please note the current self parking fee is $15 per night and our valet parking fee is $20 per night per vehicle plus 4.16% tax. (subject to change). Please visit our website for additional transportation information.

I don't believe it, but it's on the vistana confirmation email.

We have stayed here for the last 10 years and never paid for parking. last stay was in Oct of 2016.
I sure hope they are not looking for more ways to suck money out of the owners pockets

My March 2018 reservation links to owner terms & conditions and it clearly states that parking is complimentary to owners and external exchange guests. We stayed March 2017 and did not pay for parking.

I sold my week at WKORV-N to a work colleague who was there a couple of weeks back and he paid no parking fees.

Ken, I received a similar reminder email. It's from Starwood Preferred Guest - it's a Westin hotel confirmation, not the Vistana timeshare confirmation.
