Just being noisy but why give away a TS worth at minimum $4,000?

Have you tried to sell?
Have you asked Marriott if they would like to sell it for you?
Or Asked Marriott if they simply want to buy it from you?

Good Luck

Hi Bill - see her post in the Marriott forum - Marriott would not take it back.

Bill --

I just ran an eBAY search -- this is a GOLD season week and even the Platinum units are going for under $1000. But most places do sell lower after the first of the year ... did not run a wide search.

All Custom House units are 1 bedrooms - but most deposits to II do get an Accommodation Certificate. This is NOT a TRUST resort as it is a Right to Use (end date of 2057).

The 2014 MFs are higher due to about $550 façade special assessment - looking quickly, $1150 a year normally.

???? ==> Do not know if as a RESALE owner if that person would get Marriott Reward Points or HOW MANY?

While Marriott doesn't want it, I do see that this unit has some value. Perhaps not $4000, but could fetch about $1000 if the OP simply posted an ad in the TUG Marketplace. It may take a while to sell, since the 2014 MFs are paid, they have some time if the buyer doesn't want 2014 usage.

I would think that Marriott would perhaps be willing to add the OP to the resale list, though it may take a few years before it sells.

If the seller is trying to get reimbursed for 2014 MFs, giving it away may be the best option.
