This resort was talked about in the "Hidden Gems" thread here on TUG. Sounds like a nice place to enjoy a beautiful fall week!

If I still lived in Portland I'd grab it in a heartbeat!!!! But, that heartbeat took me to Saskatchewan so it is now too far away.......this is a gorgeous resort! LeAnn

There used to be a provision where these weeks could be traded annually for 10,000 Worldmark points, if you were a Worldmark owner. My recollection is that Wyndham changed the fee to make it no longer cost effective

Thats right rent_share. It was a very good deal for Worldmark Owners in that you could aquire 10,000 points for the cost of your MF and $29.00. Now you need to trade into II or RCI for WM points, so you can still get points with this resort. Its just not as good a deal for the Eagle Crest owner as it was in the past.

I had a few of these because Eagle Crest is a fantastic golf destination. There are 3 beautiful and challenging golf courses here. Other benefits of Eagle Crest ownership are discounted golf and bonus time.

BTW, the rooms at Eagle Crest are very large and furnished with about anything you could want.

The area that this resort is located is very near Bend and there is always something fun to do there in the evenings. :D

Just piping in to add that I also really liked Eagle Crest when we stayed there a few years ago. Well maintained, and we had a 3 bd overlooking the river with a huge sunken hot tub on the deck. (I'm not sure all units have the hot tubs.) As Bill said, the units are very spacious and we couldn't believe the abundance of china, glasses, etc. All very nice.

We have stayed there many times. If the timeshare is still available I am interested.
