Wondering the same...is this a busy spring break (late March/early April) location?

We stayed the first full week in April last year. It was a perfect time to go! There were people around but no crowds.

I'm looking forward to returning sometime in early March but I'm not sure if the college spring breakers go there. I kind of doubt it due to there not being lots of attractions like you'd expect in Panama City Beach.

I loved Edisto and I'm ready to go back!

Myrtle Beach as an Alternitive

Have you ever though about Myrtle Beach. It's just north of Edisto Island. We spend the first part of February there prior to heading south to Daytona Beach. There is a lot to do in Myrtle Beach and there is a lot of Wyndham availability...

There are no crowds on the beach and the water temperatures will be still to cold to swim.

We were there last July 4th week and it was not what I would consider busy. I can't imagine it being any busier during the spring break period but I may be way off on this. I just never hear it being mentioned as a hot spring break area.

Even over Spring break at that time of year if you take an hour walk on the beach I doubt you would see more than 2 dozen people besides those in your group.

This place is for total R & R. There will be no crowds on the beach like in Myrtle Beach or Virginia beach,VA.
