When I called to book my units for next year, the hold messages included one about news updates on the pahio.com site. While I was waiting, I checked it out and saw this update with pictures of the interior renovations:

I like the koa wood, and I'm so glad the new couches don't have upholstered arms. (The unit I was in last year was so sticky on the arm that I put a hand towel on it.)

That looks pretty nice! I'll be at KBV in the Fall, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it is in person. Thanks, Linsj!

Nice update. Thanks for posting. Not sure I would choose the bedspreads that I saw but overall I the improvements, especially without any special assessment.

Booked my oceanfront unit for March 2015..... Yikes that is a long time considering I'm sitting through a blizzard here in Minnesota!

Aren't those the same kitchen and bathroom counters?

And is that a queen bed instead of a king?

Yes, replacing the cabinets and counters aren't in the plans for this round of renovations, although some of the cabinets were apparently painted and will be stripped down to the original wood. Personally, I don't care. Beats a special assessment.

I agree - the kitchen is fine.
