Hi,

I was browsing the internet and came across G&G Timeshare Solutions - a law firm that states they will help people who feel fraud has been committed by Timeshares in Mexico. They ask for no upfront fees and work only on a contingency basis. I suspect they really are lawyers because it would be too easy to check them out. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks,

Gonzalez and Gonzalez is located in Mexico and they charge $1,400 for their services. What recourse do you have if they rip you off?

More Info.

I figured that if one Gonzalez rips you off, you can hire the other Gonzalez to represent you.

Then I looked at the attorney profiles on the web page. There is only one Gonzalez and a Lopez. Should we send out a search party to find the other Gonzalez?

One theory...

Maybe Senor Gonzalez has a multiple personality disorder, in which the "bad guy" Gonzales takes the suckers' (er....I mean clients') $1,400 and the "good guy" Gonzales then tries (...but ultimately fails) to prevail in its' retrieval. Likely just one bank account involved, so it's a real "win /win" (...for him).

Hey Denise, if they supposedly only get money based on contingency, why would you pay $1400 up front?

Dear Denise,

Quick comment, G&G only collects payment if we are successful in cancelling a timeshare contract. If G&G cannot cancel the contract, our service is free. This is a true guarantee.

Regards,
Jose Gonzalez.

Yes, I did contact G&G and they were upfront with me. There was no hint of a fee and even told me that they could not help me in my situation unless the only thing I wanted to do was get out of my yearly commitment. I did not and we left it at that. I did not feel at any time that they were asking me or going to ask me for cash up front.
