I am giving away one of my three Massanutten timeshares. This is a 4 BR lockoff (can be broken into two 2BR units) upstairs/downstairs every other year via RCI. Week 24, which is the beginning of public school summer vacation for many in the DC area. Great mountain getaway with excellent golfing, water park, pools and other amenities and local attractions. Saturday or Sunday check-in.
Maintenance fees are only $360 per year, and paid up to date - you will pay $360 in 2017 and be able to access the unit June 2018. You can enjoy the whole thing (sleep up to 12 people) or it can be broken up into two 2-bedroom units within RCI to occupy one unit a year, or trade to go anywhere inside the RCI system. I deposited it at the very last minute and got trading power of 16 - should be more if you deposit earlier. An RCI Gold Crown with great trade value. Or you can occupy one unit and rent out the other yourself or let the resort rent it for you to reduce your vacation costs.
The only difference between the two units is a full kitchen downstairs versus a partial (a hot plate, electric skillet and toaster oven instead of a full oven) kitchen upstairs. Both have 1176 square feet and a huge whirlpool bathtub. For more information and pictures, see http://www.massresort.com/v.php?pg=128. Floor plan at http://massanuttentimeshares.com/floorplans.php
I am asking the new owner to reimburse the $50 resort transfer fees and all taxes and fees to process a quitclaim deed - should be less than $100 total, and if it is more than $100 I'll pay the overage. If you aren't familiar or comfortable with this process we'll have to discuss legal and titling fees.
