Has anyone used either of these companies to purchase a timeshare in Maui? If so, what was your experience and would your recommend them or any particular agent?

Never bought but used the company to sell. I would buy a Marriott, Westin or Hyatt from Syed, but I wouldn't buy any other resort through him because the prices are inflated when compared to buying on ebay.

I came out even selling my timeshare at Sands of Kahana through Syed. I think they charged me $3,000 to sell, and they sold for $4,000. I paid $1,000 on ebay from a reputable reseller. So 4X the cost in buying.
