The welcome to our resort speech latest less than 5 minutes after I disclosed that I own resale ! LOL! He said he couldn't do anything for me & that it was worthless. I said, alright then. He stormed out. He just kind of threw my welcome gift on the table & was gone!

They wouldnt even give me that much time. Wyndham sales people are getting smarter and they are doing some filtering before the appointment . They only want to talk to folks that are likely to buy. Good for us and good for them

Apparently they haven't done quite enough research or filtering. I've been "cordially invited" (arm-twisted), without success, to updates or the infamous "check-in/welcome survey" the last two times I've visited (Bonnet Creek and National Harbor). Bonnet Creek was particularly aggressive. I'm still waiting for the happy day I get black-listed.

I'm now blackballed as well. We signed up last week at Daytona and they called later to say they couldn't take us. The tours have previously been a quick and painless $75. No more, I guess. Maybe we can try to book them for the first morning we're there, before they can do their screening.

When cancelling us they said, "You are on a no solicitation list." It was a little confusing, because we then kept getting reminder calls for the appointment even after being told that they couldn't take us. Oddly, they then wanted to do an in room questionaire. They saw no problem interupting us in our room for no compensation, even though we were on the "no solicitation" list. Apparently they were oblivious to their inconsistency. Needless to say, we declined,

At AVP now. When checking in guy said could only give us welcome gift and quick Q & A. So, we bit.

Nice guy came to room with big brief case and we said we would only do sales pitch for Natchz dinner cruise.

So he called someone and we went down and got signed up. Two hours later a shuttle took us to sales center a couple blocks from LBM.

Salesman was olde school, resale no good, CWA is only way to go and and sign up for credit card and earn enough to pay MF. However , could not get numbers to balance after adding in $20K to buy CWA and pay MF thereon.

Closer asked what I thought about Pathways and said if he gives me $20K today I would guarantee with notarized signature in blood to give hm back $10K in one year.

Outta dare in and hour and 1/2 with $140 dinner cruise.
