I am interested in buying 230,000 wyndham points on ebay for $120 per month maintenance fees....

Question #1 My home deed is myrtle beach.. Can I use those points any where in the wyndham rci resorts without any penalties.....

Question #2 Is it difficult to make reservations using the wyndham points and are there any rules as to how early or late I must make reservations.

Question #3 If I can use the points anywhere why do the deed say a specific location..

Question #4 Will the matanance fee greatly rise over the years? Thanks

Yes I have researched this extensively but really need to know theses things from actual owners of points....

Usually TUGGERS are helpful, but if you truly did your research, you would already have your answers from users already

Everything in here is posted by owners, Wyndham run their own filtered message board on their site (at least for Worldmark)

Start with the stickies at the top of the Wyndham forum

1) I dont understand "wyndham rci resorts" Assuming you mean Wyndham or RCI the answer is yes, unless you consider paying maintenance fees and exchange fees a penalty

2) No. it is not difficult to make reservations using the wyndham points
Yes there are rules

3) long story short; The Wyndham timeshare system is built on a foundation of deeded real property. You pledge your deeds to the Fairshare Trust and in exchange you get points symbolic of your ownership to use as currency to make reservations at the resorts in the system

even shorter answer because thats the way god made it

4) Yes of course maintenance fees will go up.

You say you have done your research....but I would say you still have work to do. (although you seem to know a lot more than I did when I made my first purchase). So either buy now and learn as you go from your mistakes...like I did. or take some time, and read the book ... Wyndham's owner directory
