Hi all,

Myself, husband & 4 year old son along with my in-laws are heading to Big Cedar Wilderness Club May 5-12. Have been checking out this site & Big Cedar's for activities/dining and have a couple of questions. Is the campfire wagon ride worth the $? Should husband & I horseback ride here or are there better options in the area?

As far as dining - I'm so confused on the restaurants! Which one would be best for Sunday brunch & which one would be good just for husband & I if we can con...um, convince the in-laws into keeping our son for a night?
Thanks to all for any advice/help. Have never been to this part of the country & am looking forward to a wonderful time in a beautiful place!

Big Cedar ride is very tame. If you want something a bit more interesting, go to Dogwood Canyon (I'd recommend going there anyway, despite the cost). Very few riders there even in summer, so they can arrange the ride somewhat based on your skill.

We loved the Worman House Brunch, one of the best we've ever had. Was not too impressed with Devil's Pool for dinner.

Definitely Devil's Pool Restaurant for Sunday brunch.

Why Sandy?

In my humble opinion, you get nicer atmosphere and more interesting food for the additional $6 - $7 at the Worman House.

You can go to guest services to see the menues for both brunches a few days in advance.
